The Michael Lee-Chin Family Institute for Corporate Citizenship

The Michael Lee-Chin Family Institute for Corporate Citizenship was created in late 2004 with the generous support of entrepreneur and philanthropist Michael Lee-Chin. The Institute's purpose is to help current and future business leaders integrate corporate citizenship into business strategy and practices. The Lee-Chin Institute is the focal point for corporate citizenship initiatives at Rotman, actively developing and disseminating useful research, tools and curricula.

The Lee-Chin Institute will be relentlessly useful, helping leaders make sense of options, opportunities and approaches rather than acting as issue advocates. The scope of the Lee-Chin Institute is necessarily international with some emphasis on Canadian leaders, particularly those who are competing successfully in international markets. The secondary focus of the Lee-Chin Institute is on students and potential students – future business leaders – to ensure they are equipped to understand and make responsible decisions for their organizations.
